Some links on aikporia are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up for or buy a product, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you.
That is the whole disclosure in one sentence. The rest of this page explains how it works, because you deserve to know how a site you read for buying decisions makes its money.
1. What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is an ordinary link with a tracking code attached. When you click it, the company you land on records that aikporia sent you. If you then sign up for a paid plan, the company pays us a small share of that sale or a fixed referral fee.
The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be if you had typed the address into your browser directly. Affiliate commissions come out of the vendor’s marketing budget, not out of your pocket.
2. Why we use them
Running aikporia costs money — hosting, tools, and the time it takes to track this industry every day. We could fund that by charging for access, by publishing paid reviews, or through advertising and affiliate commissions.
We chose advertising and affiliate commissions because they keep the Site free to read and keep our coverage open to everyone, including people evaluating tools on no budget at all.
3. What affiliate links do not affect
This is the part that matters most:
- They do not decide what we cover. We report on what happens in the AI content-creation industry. Plenty of the tools we write about have no affiliate programme at all, and that has never stopped us covering them.
- They do not change how a story is written. If a company we earn commission from raises its prices, removes a feature, has an outage or gets acquired, that is news and we report it the same way we would report it about anyone else.
- They cannot be bought. No company can pay us to be featured, to be ranked higher, or to have criticism removed. If a placement is ever paid for, it will be labelled clearly as sponsored — and that is advertising, not editorial.
An affiliate relationship is a payment arrangement, not an endorsement.
4. Programmes we participate in
We participate in affiliate and referral programmes operated by software vendors, hosting providers and marketing platforms in the AI and content-creation space. These relationships change over time as programmes open and close.
Where a specific programme requires its own disclosure wording, that wording appears below.
5. How affiliate links are marked
Affiliate links on the Site carry the rel="sponsored" attribute, which is the standard search engines use to identify paid links. Sponsor banners and advertising placements are labelled “Sponsor” in the page design.
If you would rather not use an affiliate link, you can always search for the product and visit the vendor’s site directly. Nothing on aikporia is gated behind an affiliate link.
6. Advertising
Separately from affiliate links, the Site displays advertising served by third-party advertising networks. These ads are selected by the network, not by us, and their appearance on the Site is not an endorsement of the advertised product.
Details of how advertising cookies work are in our Privacy Policy.
7. Verify before you buy
Pricing, plans, free tiers and features in the AI tools market change constantly, and an article can go out of date within weeks. Always confirm the current details on the vendor’s own website before you buy, and check their refund policy.
Nothing on this Site is professional, financial or legal advice. See our Disclaimer for more.
8. Questions
